Research: Falling Down (1993)

Title Sequence

What does the sound tell us about this?
- Builds the surroundings (traffic).

What is shown in this title sequence?
- That the film is based around a man who seems stressed and agitated, the title sequence shows a man stuck in busy traffic, the camera then pans around him to show the cars also stuck in traffic, here you see a school bus of loud noisy children, a weird girl in the car in front with her dolls, a smiling garfield toy stuck to a window.

What is the role of the opening of a film?
- To introduce a film.
- To show main characters.
- To give respect and name the characters and people involved in making the title sequence/film.
